Perceptions unhinge in the vivid details of David Krovblit’s intricate and imaginative art. Krovblit describes his collages as curations of lost visual history. His artworks are inspired by nostalgia, pop culture, and the vibrancy of everyday life. Drawing from surrealism and allegorical art, Krovblit pieces run deep with meaning and whimsy. The individual layers of each collage are concepted and created in photoshop, and then printed, cut by hand, and reassembled in physical mediums mimicking the delicate apprehension of the human mind.
